- Assistance with obtaining medical and educational evaluations for enrollment is available. Enrollment in the Exceptional Family Member Program is mandatory for any Marine with a qualified family member. The aim of the program is to assist assignment monitors at Headquarters Marine Corps in assigning Marines to an area where their exceptional family member's special needs can be met.
- Before, during, and after relocation assistance is available to find resources and services that will meet the needs of the exceptional family member. A resource center with pamphlets, books and videos on various disabilities and topics of interest is located in the Exceptional Family Member Program office.
- The Exceptional Family Member Program. office develops and continually updates information concerning installation and community support and resources.
- The Exceptional Family Member Program. Coordinator acts as liaison with community, medical, and educational services and provides advocacy support as needed.
- Educational and awareness presentations are provided on various topics of interest to families with an Exceptional Family Member.
- Training and information are provided to commands concerning the Exceptional Family Member Program, needs of Marines with an exceptional family member, and other educational topics as needed.

"Financially Fit, Mission Ready"
- The Financial Management Program directs implements and monitors comprehensive personal financial management education, training, and counseling programs. These programs emphasize personal financial responsibility and accountability through the basic principles and practices of sound money management, specialized counseling, consumer education, and information and referral. Designed as a working tool, giving assistance to the unit Commanders and his Marines by providing necessary education and training to the service members stationed aboard the Combat Center. This program is a starting point for service members and their families to acquire financial management skills and consumer knowledge.
- Educational classes are available, both as a one-on-one counseling session or as unit P.M.E'S: Banking, Basic Budgeting, Car Buying, Checkbook Management, Insurance, Consumer Rights, Marriage Preparations, Divorce, Transition, Retirement, Pre-Deployment Preparations, Tackling Debt, Credit, and Savings and investments.
- The demands of military life are challenging. Providing the military community with the basic principles and practices of sound money management makes these demands attainable and improves the balance between military career and family life. The Financial Management Program. helps to provide the tools necessary to receive the maximum benefits from the military paycheck and reduce the worry and frustration over the continual changes in the military life-style.

Bringing People & Services Together
Information & Referral (I&R) is the primary point of contact for the clients of Marine Corps Community Support. The office has various handouts and pamphlets of military/community social and human service programs. All military personnel, DoD civilians, sponsored family members, and retirees can obtain information about a myriad of services available both on base and in the local community.
Engaged or newly married couples can come to the office and receive a New Marriage Packet. The package contains a checklist and information needed to process a new family member into the military community. This includes:
- DEERS
- Commuted Rations
- Housing Rates and Options
- Lifestyles, Information, Networking, Skills, and Knowledge (L.I.N.K.S.)
- Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (P.R.E.P.)
- As well as many other programs available for the couple.
The Information & Referral office offers various presentations upon request. Please call for details.

The New Parent Support program is a professional team of nurses and social workers who provide supportive and caring services to military families with children ages five
and under. The team does this through home visitation services, support groups, parenting and prenatal classes.
Daddys Baby Boot Camp and Mommys Basic Training are classes for expectant military parents and parents with children under the age of one.

Services offered for INBOUND customers:
- Welcome Aboard Packages (WAPs) covering the particulars of the Combat Center, the local community and other Tri-State attractions and events, are mailed to inbound service and/or family members upon request. Please check with your local RAP for details on how to request a WAP.
- If a sponsor is requested, we will be happy to forward the request on to the gaining unit.
- Upon arrival, Hospitality Kits (enough kitchenware to set up light housekeeping) are available for short-term (one month maximum) loan. The Relocation Assistance Office also acts as a clearinghouse for any unanswered questions inbound personnel may have regarding the Combat Center or local communities.
- A Community Orientation presentation is available to all newly joined service members and/or family members, upon request.
Services offered for OUTBOUND customers:
- Standard Installation Topic Exchange Service (SITES) manuals are provided for the next duty station, once orders are confirmed.
- Videos, CDs and DVDs on other installations are available for loan.
- Information on Pay & Entitlements, Pre-Departure Checklists and Budgets, BAH/OHA, COLA/OCOLA, Moving Tips and Hints, etc. are available.
- This office is available to meet with the customer one-on-one to discuss and explain, if it is further necessary, the information provided above.
- If the customer is PCSing to an area not in close proximity to or supported by a military installation, the Relocation Assistance Office can provide points of contact by way of the Chambers of Commerce, internet searches and MCCS OneSource liaisons.

Gearing up for another cross-country move? This workshop will provide you with the essential information you need to ensure a successful and smooth move. You’ll learn about Housing, Traffic Management Office, pay and entitlements and more.
- OCONUS – (Overseas Connection)
Moving to Japan? This workshop can help ease your concerns about moving overseas and living in a foreign country. We’ll provide you with information including pay and entitlements, Overseas Housing Allowance, and Cost of Living Allowance. We’ll also give you helpful moving tips and teach you Japanese customs and culture.
